Lazy Saturday

This past Saturday little Hattie LouLou had a stomach bug. We all lounged around that day in our jammies. We made it a family day of making sure Hattie got better, and quick.

Coco also had a big day but for a much more enjoyable reason. Last Saturday was the first time taking a bath in the sink solo, without her big clunky baby tub. She was a complete fish obsessed with the running water coming out of the faucet. Not to mention, have you seen the hair on this girl? Geez!

After Coco's bath it was time to all snuggle in bed together and that's what us Hastings ladies did! Love lazy Saturdays!

Christmas Day

This year was a lot different for us because Hattie was at the right age where she starts to understand and appreciate the whole spirit of Christmas. Cora on the other hand is still too young and doesn't quite get it. Regardless we had lots of presents for both of them under the tree for when they woke up on Christmas morning.

Hattie was thrilled with all of her gifts especially her rocking horse and tug boat! She loves to both bounce and rock on her horse and runs around screaming "Horsey!"

The only last minute gift I got was literally the night before Christmas Eve. I bought it for Cora to have to play with while sitting up on the floor, couch or in her high chair. Both girls love it, especially Coco.

Hanging Dishtowel

Trey and Lucy has a clever tutorial for those dishtowels that always seem to end on the floor or disappear altogether (raises hand) - A hanging dishtowel made with a potholder! Such a simple and brillant concept.

Felt Rose Bud Bouquet

I'm finally coming to terms that I have a felt addiction. Maybe because it's super easy to work with and just possibly because I can't sew for the life of me. So my heart skipped a beat when I saw this bouquet from Creative Jewish Mom. It's so gorgeous, girly and the pearl center is the perfect added touch.
