ALSO, Amy and some other bloggers are putting together a
social event for all bloggers who would like meet other bloggers during the Internation Quilt Market on May 14 in the evening. I have no idea what that is, but the social for bloggers (not really connected to "Market") sounds really fun! Amy assured me you don't have to be quilter to attend the social. DIY Vintage Signs
I adore vintage signs. Something about the nostalgia and the thought that if only they could talk... imagine the stories they could share. Have you seen the show American Pickers? I'd give anything to take a U-Haul & travel with those boys finding old vintage treasures (especially signs). .Rosette Lampshade!
Rosy Red Buttons uses rosettes to dress up this lampshade (It had ric rac she didn't like.) I love the rosettes. It is a cute Pottery Barn knock-off. .

.Vintage Ornaments
Make some vintage ornaments by taking a strand of faux pearls (or other color beads) and hot glueing them to a boring (or ugly) ornament. Craftberry Bush made these so pretty and feminine! .
