Learning/Art Activity Wall with Sliding Ladder

I. AM. JEALOUS!!!! Look at this learning and art activity wall from Girl In Air. It has a galvenized metal wall for magnets and the chalkboard wall with a painted train on which to draw along with a sliding ladder!!!!! I wish I had a wall like that in my home! So much fun for kids (and adults)! It only cost her about $100 to create! WOW!

4 Spring Planting Ideas!

. .
With it now being spring, now is the time to look for early planting ideas and cute gardening ideas. I found four to help you get started with your plants!
.
Use newspaper (or other paper) to make planters for seeds. The thing I like about this idea is that you don't have to take the plant out of the newspaper when you bury it in the ground. The newspaper will dissolve! See this at Cottage Hill.

Use an ice cube tray as a place to plant those seeds until the weather gets warmer and plants get bigger. See this and other spring planting ideas at Silly Simple.

Chalkboard Backed Cabinets

There are so many cool things to do with chalkboard paint and here is another new one! Creatively Living Outside The Box painted the back of her cabinets with chalkboard paint(which she actually took off the doors). The contrast of white and black looks stunning. Plus, you can write on or decorate the back of cabinets.

Chalkboard Window Wall

It's rare that I see a whole wall of chalkboard around blogland, but I'm loving what Inspired By Charm did with this chalkboard wall. Windows were drawn all over it and little touches of color were added. What an easy and inexpensive ways to add windows to a wall and a room:)
